Butterfinger Group

  1. Obsolete n. One of four original PC software development teams which has long since disbanded; group of software engines gathered together to work on LX microcode; the first team to name itself, the name borrowed from an 1988 animated Butterfinger commercial featuring the young Bart Simpson; The other three groups followed quickly in suit, naming themselves respectively the Cow Group, the Jungle Group and the Sandwich Group.
