LMJargon

  1. n. The directory L:RELEASE/x, a destination for software releases during release mode, where x is defined by the release manager and generally relates to the current release number. Release components (program and data files) are copied from Prerel to Release by the release manager and may not be modified, overwritten or deleted by others without prior express written and verbal consent of the release manager.

  1. n. Person responsible for coordinating and building intermediate software releases during release mode.

  1. n. A mythical existance outside the confines of LM.

  1. n. The spouse of any LM employee, especially when employee is in crunch mode or is by nature a software engine. See spousal context clash and the Whore.
